467 - Muhammad informed us, saying: Waki' reported to us, from Sufyan, from Mujammi' al-Taymi, from a sheikh of theirs who said: I saw 'Ali go out with his sword to the marketplace, and he said: "Who will buy this from me? By Allah, if I had the price of an izar (lower garment), I would not have sold it."
٤٦٧ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَ وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ مُجَمِّعِ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ شَيْخٍ لَهُمْ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ عَلِيًّا خَرَجَ بِسَيْفِهِ إِلَى السُّوقِ، فَقَالَ: «مَنْ يَشْتَرِيهِ مِنِّي، أَمَا وَاللَّهِ لَوْ كَانَ عِنْدِي ثَمَنُ إِزَارٍ مَا بِعْتُهُ»
