486 - Abu Bakr al-Marwudhi informed us, saying: Abu 'Abd Allah [Ahmad ibn Hanbal] said regarding the issue, while some people argue using [the statement of] Ibn al-Hanafiyyah, who said (360): "I do not testify for anyone..." and they [also] argue using al-Awza'i.
٤٨٦ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْمَرُّوذِيُّ، قَالَ: قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ فِي الْمَسْأَلَةِ وَقَوْمٌ يَحْتَجُّونَ بِابْنِ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ , قَالَ ⦗٣٦٠⦘: «لَا أَشْهَدُ لِأَحَدٍ. . . . . .» ، وَيَحْتَجَّونَ بِالْأَوْزَاعِي
