493 - Muhammad ibn Abi Harun informed me that Ishaq ibn Ibrahim narrated to them regarding this issue. Abu Abd Allah said: Ibn al-Musayyib did not say "for any living person" except to teach you that one who has already died may be testified for as being of the people of Paradise.
٤٩٣ - وَأَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي هَارُونَ، أَنَّ إِسْحَاقَ بْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَهُمْ فِي هَذِهِ الْمَسْأَلَةِ، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ: فَمَا قَالَ ابْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ: لِأَحَدٍ حَيٍّ، إِلَّا وَيُعَلِّمُكَ أَنَّ مَنْ قَدْ مَاتَ قَدْ يُشْهَدُ لَهُ بِالْجَنَّةِ "
