504 - 'Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Hamid informed me, saying: Bakr ibn Muhammad ibn al-Hakam narrated to us, from his father, from Abu 'Abd Allah, that he asked him about a man who says: 'I bear witness that Abu Bakr is in Paradise, and I bear witness that 'Umar is in Paradise,' or he says: 'I bear witness that 'Uthman is in Paradise, or 'Ali is in Paradise?' He said: 'There is no harm in it; if the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said something, then I bear witness to it.'
٥٠٤ - وَأَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ، قَالَ: ثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ: أَنَّهُ سَأَلَهُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يَقُولُ: أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ، فِي الْجَنَّةِ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ عُمَرَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، أَوْ يَقُولُ: أَشْهَدُ أَنَّ عُثْمَانَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، أَوْ عَلِيٌّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ؟ قَالَ: لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ، إِذَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَوْلًا فَأَنَا أَشْهَدُ عَلَيْهِ "
