377 - (...) informed us, Muhammad b. Dawud narrated to us, (...) he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Abu Bakr and 'Umar are the best of the people of the heavens, and the best of the people of the earth, and the best of the first, and the best of the last, except for the Prophets and the Messengers."
٣٧٧ - أَخْبَرَنَا (. . .) ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، (. .) قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ خَيْرُ أَهْلِ السَّمَاءِ، وَخَيْرُ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ، وَخَيْرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ، وَخَيْرُ الْآخَرِينَ، إِلَّا النَّبِيِّينَ وَالْمُرْسَلِينَ»
