528 - He said: Qabisa ibn 'Uqba narrated to us, saying: I heard Sufyan al-Thawri say: "Whoever puts anyone before Abu Bakr and 'Umar has disparaged the Muhajirun and the Ansar, and I do not think any deed of his will benefit him alongside that."
٥٢٨ - قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيَّ، يَقُولُ: «مَنْ قَدَّمَ عَلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ أَحَدًا فَقَدْ أَزْرَى عَلَى الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالْأَنْصَارِ، وَلَا أَحْسَبُهُ يَنْفَعُهُ مَعَ ذَلِكَ عَمَلٌ»
