He said: Muhammad ibn 'Ali informed me, saying: Salih narrated to us, that his father said: "He is worthy of being declared an innovator, for the Companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him) gave precedence to 'Uthman."
قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا صَالِحٌ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ قَالَ: «أَهْلٌ أَنْ يُبَدَّعَ، أَصْحَابُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدِّمُوا عُثْمَانَ»
