385 - Muhammad informed us, saying: Waki' informed us, from Shu'ba, from 'Amr b. Murra, from Abu Hamza the mawla of the Ansar, who said: "The first to accept Islam with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was 'Ali." Then 'Amr b. Murra said: "I came to Ibrahim and mentioned that to him, but he denied it and said: 'Abu Bakr, may Allah have mercy on them both.'"
٣٨٥ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَ وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ مَوْلَى الْأَنْصَارِ، قَالَ: " أَوَّلُ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلِيٌّ، فَقَالَ عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ: فَأَتَيْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَأَنْكَرَهُ، وَقَالَ: أَبُو بَكْرٍ رَحِمَهُمَا اللَّهُ "
