590 - 'Imran ibn Bakkar al-Kila'i al-Himsi informed us, saying: al-'Abbas ibn Talib related to us, saying: Hammad ibn Zayd related to us, saying: Ayyub said: "I entered Medina while the people were numerous—al-Qasim ibn Muhammad, Sulayman, and others—and I did not see anyone differing regarding the precedence of Abu Bakr, 'Umar, and 'Uthman."
٥٩٠ - أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ الْكَلَاعِيُّ الْحِمْصِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ طَالِبٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، قَالَ: «دَخَلْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ وَالنَّاسُ مُتَوَافِرُونَ، الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَسُلَيْمَانُ وَغَيْرُهُمَا، فَمَا رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا يَخْتَلِفُ فِي تَقْدِيمِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ»
