395 - Muhammad informed us, saying: Waki' reported to us, from Mis'ar, from Bayan ibn Bishr, from Qays ibn Abi Hazim, who said: 'Umar saw a man complaining of his legs, suffering from this disease—meaning gout—so he said: "The [cured] fat of sheep shall heal you." He said: So he was cured the following year and complained of nothing.
٣٩٥ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَ وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ بَيَانِ بْنِ بِشْرٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، قَالَ: رَأَى عُمَرُ رَجُلًا يَشْتَكِي رِجْلَيْهِ، بِهِ هَذَا الدَّاءُ، يَعْنِي النَّقْرَسَ، فَقَالَ: «كَذَبَتْكَ الطَّهَايِنُ» ، قَالَ: فبَرِيَ فِي الْعَامِ ⦗٣١٧⦘ الْمُقْبِلِ مَا يَشْتَكِي شَيْئًا
