409 - Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Mansur informed me, saying: Ja'far ibn Muhammad ibn Nuh narrated to us, saying: I heard Muhammad ibn 'Isa say: Ibn Idris said: "There was no one among the people more firmly established in the Caliphate than 'Uthman; his Caliphate was by the consultation of six people from among the participants of Badr."
٤٠٩ - أَخْبَرَنِي أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ: ثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ نُوحٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عِيسَى، يَقُولُ: قَالَ ابْنُ إِدْرِيسَ: «مَا كَانَ فِي الْقَوْمِ أَثْبَتَ عَقْدًا فِي الْخِلَافَةِ مِنْ عُثْمَانَ، كَانَتْ خِلَافَتُهُ بِمَشُورَةِ سِتَّةٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَدْرٍ»
