890 - Ahmad ibn Mansur al-Ramadi informed us, saying: Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd al-Tanafisi narrated to us, saying: al-A'mash narrated to us, from Zayd ibn Wahb, who said: 'Abd Allah said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, narrated to us, and he is the Truthful, the Believed: "The creation of one of you is brought together in his mother's womb for forty days, then he is a clot for a similar period, then he is a lump of flesh for a similar period. Then Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, sends to him an angel with four words; he says: 'Write his deeds and his term,' and he says: 'Write whether he is miserable or happy.' Then he breathes the spirit into him. By Him in Whose hand is my soul, a man may perform the deeds of the people of the Fire until there is only a cubit between him and it, then the decree precedes him, and he performs the deeds of the people of Paradise and enters it. And a man may perform the deeds of the people of Paradise until there is only a cubit between him and it, then the decree precedes him, and he concludes with the deeds of the people of the Fire and enters it."
٨٩٠ - أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ الرَّمَادِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الطَّنَافِسِيُّ، قَالَ: ثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ: حَدَّثَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ الصَّادِقُ الْمَصْدُوقُ: " إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ يُجْمَعُ خَلْقُهُ فِي بَطْنِ أُمِّهِ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا، فَيَكُونُ عَلَقَةً مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ، ثُمَّ يَكُونُ مُضْغَةً مِثْلَ ⦗٥٣٩⦘ ذَلِكَ، ثُمَّ يُرْسِلُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَيْهِ الْمَلَكَ بِأَرْبَعِ كَلِمَاتٍ، فَيَقُولُ: اكْتُبْ عَمَلَهُ وَأَجَلَهُ، وَيَقُولُ: اكْتُبْ شَقِيًّا أَوْ سَعِيدًا، ثُمَّ يَنْفُخُ فِيهِ الرُّوحَ، فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ، إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ حَتَّى مَا يَكُونُ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهَا إِلَّا ذِرَاعٌ فَيَسْبِقُ عَلَيْهِ الْكِتَابُ فَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَيَدْخُلُهَا، وَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيَعْمَلُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ حَتَّى مَا يَكُونُ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَهَا إِلَّا ذِرَاعٌ فَيَسْبِقُ عَلَيْهِ الْكِتَابُ فَيُخْتَمُ لَهُ بِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَيَدْخُلُهَا "
