917 - 'Abd Allah ibn Isma'il informed me, saying: Abu Yahya Zakariyya ibn al-Farah narrated to us, saying: Abu 'Imran al-Muqri' narrated to us, saying: 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Salih al-Kufi narrated to us, from Husayn al-Ju'fi, from Fudayl ibn 'Iyad and Sufyan al-Thawri, regarding His saying: {Our wretchedness overcame us} [Al-Mu'minun: 106], they both said: "Your decree overcame us."
٩١٧ - أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ: ثَنَا أَبُو يَحْيَى زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ الْفَرَحِ، قَالَ: ثَنَا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الْمُقْرِئُ، قَالَ: ثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْكُوفِيُّ، عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْجُعْفِيِّ، عَنْ فُضَيْلِ بْنِ عِيَاضٍ، وَسُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ، فِي قَوْلِهِ: {غَلَبَتْ عَلَيْنَا شِقْوَتَنَا} [المؤمنون: ١٠٦] ، قَالَا: «غَلَبِ عَلَيْنَا قَضَاؤُكَ»
