And the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "He is not of us who tears the collars, strikes the cheeks, and invokes the invocations of the pre-Islamic period (Jahiliyyah)."
وَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ: «لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ شَقَّ الْجُيُوبَ، وَلَطَمَ الْخُدُودَ، وَدَعَا بِدَعْوَى الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ»
