870 - Abu Bakr al-Marwudhi informed us, saying: I said to Abu 'Abd Allah: 'A man who has a Qadari relative?' He said: 'Being a Qadari does not cast him out of Islam.' I said: 'Those [individuals] were not calling others to the doctrine of Qadar; but what about one who was learned and denied the knowledge [of the truth]?' He said: 'If he denies it, he has disbelieved.'
٨٧٠ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْمَرُّوذِيُّ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ: الرَّجُلُ يَكُونُ لَهُ قَرَابَةٌ قَدَرِيُّ؟ قَالَ: الْقَدَرُ لَا يُخْرِجُهُ مِنَ الْإِسْلَامِ. قُلْتُ: أُولَئِكَ لَمْ يَكُونُوا يَدْعُونَ إِلَى الْقَدَرِ، فَأَمَّا مَنْ كَانَ عَالِمًا وَجَحَدَ الْعِلْمَ؟ قَالَ: إِذَا جَحَدَ كَفَرَ
