1091 - 'Abd al-Malik al-Maymuni informed me, saying: Surayj ibn Yunus narrated to us, saying: Sufyan narrated to us, from Ma'mar, from al-Zuhri, who said: "They used to consider Islam to be the word, and faith [al-iman] to be the action."
١٠٩١ - أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ الْمَيْمُونِيُّ، قَالَ: ثنا سُرَيْحُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ: «كَانُوا يَرَوْنَ الْإِسْلَامَ الْكَلِمَةَ، وَالْإِيمَانَ الْعَمَلَ»
