1329 - Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, he said: 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, he said: Malik ibn Anas narrated to us, he said: 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and the leaders of affairs after him established Sunan (practices/precedents). Adhering to them is a confirmation of the Book of Allah, a completion of obedience to Allah, and a reinforcement of the religion of Allah. Whoever acts upon them is rightly guided, whoever seeks victory through them is granted victory, and whoever opposes them follows a path other than that of the believers, and Allah will leave him to what he has chosen for himself."
