1408 - He said: Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, he said: Waki' narrated to us, he said: Al-A'mash narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn 'Ubaydah, who said: I was with Ibn 'Umar in a circle, and he heard a man in another circle saying: "Nay, by my father!" Ibn 'Umar threw a pebble at him and said: "That was an oath used by 'Umar, but the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade it, and said: 'It is shirk (polytheism).'"
