1130 - Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, Hajjaj narrated to us, saying: Sharik narrated to us, from al-A'mash and Mughirah, from Abu Wa'il, that a man from the Murji'ah spoke, and the statement of 'Abd Allah (Ibn Mas'ud) regarding faith reached him, so he said: "A slip from a scholar."
١١٣٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ثنا حَجَّاجٌ، قَالَ: ثنا شَرِيكٌ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، وَمُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا تَكَلَّمَ مِنَ الْمُرْجِئَةِ، بَلَغَهُ قَوْلُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ فِي الْإِيمَانِ، فَقَالَ: «زَلَّةٌ مِنْ عَالِمٍ»
