1664 - He said: Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: 'Abd Allah ibn Numayr narrated to us, saying: Sa'd—meaning Ibn Sa'id—narrated to us, saying: I heard Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib saying: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "It is an act of disbelief to claim a lineage other than one's own, or to renounce a part of one's lineage, even if it be small."
١٦٦٤ - قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، قَالَ: ثنا سَعْدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيِّبِ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْكُفْرُ مَنِ ادَّعَى إِلَى غَيْرِ نَسَبِهِ، أَوْ تَرَكَ شَيْئًا مِنْ نَسَبِهِ وَإِنْ صَغُرَ»
