1668 - He said: Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, saying: Sufyan narrated to us, from al-Aghar, from Khalifah ibn Husayn, from his grandfather Qays ibn 'Asim: "That he accepted Islam, and the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, commanded him to perform ghusl (a ritual bath) with water and lote tree leaves."
١٦٦٨ - قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ، قَالَ: ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْأَغَرِّ، عَنْ خَلِيفَةَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ: «أَنَّهُ أَسْلَمَ، فَأَمَرَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ»
