1670 - Abu 'Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: 'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, saying: 'Abd Allah ibn 'Umar narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id al-Maqburi, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, commanded Thumamah ibn Uthal, when he embraced Islam, to perform ghusl (a ritual bath) and pray two rak'ahs.
١٦٧٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ: ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَمَرَ ثُمَامَةَ بْنَ أُثَالٍ حِينَ أَسْلَمَ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ وَيُصَلِّيَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ»
