1720 - Abd al-Malik al-Maymuni informed me that Bishr al-Mirrisi was mentioned in the presence of Abu Abd Allah (Ahmad ibn Hanbal), and it was said: 'He is an unbeliever (kafir).' I did not see Abu Abd Allah object to anything the speaker had said.
١٧٢٠ - وَأَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ الْمَيْمُونِيُّ، أَنَّ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، ذُكِرَ عِنْدَهُ بِشْرٌ الْمِرِّيسِيُّ، فَقِيلَ: كَافِرٌ. فَلَمْ أَرَ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَنْكَرَ مِنْ قَوْلِ الْقَائِلِ شَيْئًا
