1721 - Abu Bakr al-Marwudhi informed us, saying: I said to Abu Abd Allah: Yazid said, "Is there not among the harbi (belligerents) someone who would assassinate al-Mirrisi?" He (Ahmad ibn Hanbal) replied, "He used to say that."
١٧٢١ - وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْمَرُّوذِيُّ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ: قَالَ يَزِيدُ: أَمَا فِي الْحَرْبِيَّةِ مَنْ يَفْتِكُ بِالْمِرِّيسِيِّ؟ قَالَ: «قَدْ كَانَ يَقُولُ ذَاكَ»
