1481 - He said: Abu Abd Allah narrated to us, he said: Waki' narrated to us, he said: al-A'mash narrated to us, from Ibrahim, from Abu 'Ubaydah, who said: "Abd Allah entered upon his wife and touched her chest, and found a string around her neck that she had hung. He said, 'What is this?' She replied, 'Something that has been charmed (ruqiya) for me for the fever.' He pulled it off and said, 'The family of Abd Allah has indeed become free of need for Shirk (associating partners with Allah).'"
