1503 - Abu Abd Allah narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Samad ibn Abd al-Warith narrated to us, he said: Mahdi ibn Maymun narrated to me, he said: Wasil al-Ahdab narrated to us, from Abu Wa'il, from Hudhayfah, that he saw a man praying who was not performing his bowing (ruku') or prostration (sujud) properly. When he finished, he called him and said: "How long have you been praying this prayer?" The man said: "I have prayed it for such and such a time." He said: "You have not prayed," or he said: "You have not prayed for the sake of Allah." Mahdi said: "And I think he said: If you were to die, you would die upon a path other than the Sunnah of Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace."
