1533 - He (Al-Khallal) said: Abu Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, saying: Sufyan narrated to us, from Zakariyya from the people of al-Rayy, who said: I asked Abu Wa'il about a man who changes his father's name in the registry (diwan) — Abd al-Rahman said: or something similar — He said: I heard Abd Allah (Ibn Mas'ud) say, or he said: Abd Allah said: "He has disbelieved in Allah the Almighty who claims a lineage that is not his own, and he has disbelieved in Allah who disowns a lineage, even if it is insignificant."
