With al-Rabīʿ ibn Abī Rāshid

88 - 'Abdullāh narrated to us, saying: I was narrated to from Saʿīd ibn Sulaymān, from Wahb ibn Ismāʿīl, from ʿUmar ibn Dharr, who said: It was said to al-Rabīʿ ibn Abī Rāshid: "What is with you that you do not mix with people and converse with them?" He said: "No, by Allah, not until I know what the Inevitable Event has done."
