159 - ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us: ʿAlī ibn Muslim narrated to us: Sufyān, May Allah have mercy on him, narrated to us: Riyāḥ ibn ʿAmr al-Qaysī narrated to us, who said: I heard Mālik ibn Dīnār saying: "A man does not reach the status of the truthful (al-Ṣiddīqīn) until he leaves his wife as if she were a widow, and takes refuge in the dunghills of dogs."
