164 - ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us: Al-Ḥasan ibn Maḥbūb narrated to us: Al-Fayḍ ibn Isḥāq narrated to us, who said: Solitude and what is disliked of it were mentioned in the presence of Ḥudhayfa al-Marʿashī, so he said: "Only the ignorant person dislikes that; as for a scholar who knows what we engage in, then no."
