31 - He said (1): And I heard him say: "Whoever mixes with people will not remain safe and will not escape one of two things:

1 - Either he engages in idle talk with them when they engage in falsehood.

2 - Or he remains silent when he sees an evil or hears it from his companions, failing to change it, thus sinning and becoming a partner with them in it." (2).
