83 - 'Abdullāh narrated to us, Ismā'īl ibn Abī al-Ḥārith narrated to us, Yaḥyā ibn Ayyūb narrated to us, one of our companions narrated to me, he said: Mālik ibn Anas wrote to al-'Umarī: "You are a bedouin; if only you were near the Mosque of the Messenger of Allah, Peace and blessings of God be upon him." So al-'Umarī wrote back to him: "I dislike being the neighbor of someone like you; for Allah Almighty has never seen your face change with anger for His sake for even a single hour." (1)
