41 - Muḥammad b. Maʿshara narrated to us, from ʿAwn b. ʿAbd Allāh b. al-Ḥārith b. Nawfal b. al-Ḥārith b. ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib, from his brother ʿAbd Allāh b. ʿAbd Allāh, from his father ʿAbd Allāh b. al-Ḥārith, who said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: "God created three things with His Hand: He created Adam with His Hand, He wrote the Torah with His Hand, and He planted al-Firdaws with His Hand. Then He said: 'By My Might and Majesty, no habitual drunkard nor dayyūth shall enter it.' They said: 'O Messenger of God, we know the habitual drunkard, but what is the dayyūth?' He said: 'The one who permits evil in his family.'"
