“There will afflict those who committed crimes” — meaning: associated partners with Allah — “humiliation before Allah” — meaning: disgrace — “and a severe punishment” in the Hereafter “for what they used to plot” — meaning: they used to associate partners with Allah.
Surah Al-An'am from verse (125) to verse (126).
﴿سيصيب الَّذين أجرموا﴾ يَعْنِي: أَشْرَكُوا ﴿صَغَارٌ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ﴾ أَي: ذلةً ﴿وَعَذَاب شَدِيد﴾ فِي الْآخِرَةِ ﴿بِمَا كَانُوا يَمْكُرُونَ﴾ يَعْنِي: يشركُونَ.
