"And [it was said to me], 'Direct your face [toward the religion]'" [Yunus: 105], meaning: your direction [toward it], up to His saying, the Almighty: "If you were to do so, then indeed, you would be of the wrongdoers" [Yunus: 106], meaning: And you shall not do so.
﴿وَأَن أقِم وَجهك﴾ أَيْ: وِجْهَتِكَ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ ﷿: ﴿فَإِنْ فَعَلْتَ فَإِنَّكَ إِذًا من الظَّالِمين﴾ أَي: وَلست فَاعِلا.
