605 - 'Isam ibn Rawwad narrated to us, Adam narrated to us, Abu Safwan al-Qasim ibn Yazid narrated to us from Yahya ibn Abi al-Nadr, he said: I said to Juwaybir: How did every people know their drinking place? He said: Moses would place the stone and a man would stand up from every tribe, and Moses would strike the stone; twelve springs would gush forth from it, and it would spray from every spring onto a man, and that man would call his tribe to that spring.

607 - Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd Allah al-Munadi reported to me in what he wrote to me, Yunus ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Shayban narrated to us from Qatadah: "And do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption," he said: Do not travel on the earth spreading corruption.

608 - Abu Bakr ibn Abi Musa al-Ansari narrated to us, Harun ibn Hatim narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Hammad narrated to us from Asbat from al-Suddi from Abu Malik regarding His saying: "And do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption," meaning: Do not walk about in acts of disobedience.
His saying: "And when you said, 'O Moses, we can never endure one food.'"
609 - 'Isam ibn Rawwad narrated to us, Adam narrated to us, Abu Ja'far narrated to us from al-Rabi' from Abu al-'Aliyah regarding His saying: "we can never endure one food," he said: Their food was the quail and their drink was the manna, so they asked for what they mentioned.
610 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Hammad narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us from al-Suddi, he said: They became weary of that and said: "O Moses, we can never endure one food." 'Amr ibn Hammad said: They became weary, meaning: they became sated. Abu Zur'ah said: They became weary, i.e., they disliked it.
