The fourth perspective:
683 - My father narrated to us, al-Himmani narrated to us, Ya'qub al-Qummi narrated to us from Mutarrif from 'Atiyyah regarding His saying: "And what was after it," for those who came after them from the Children of Israel, that they should not act in it as they (the former) acted.
[His saying: And a lesson for those who are pious]
[The first perspective]
684 - My father narrated to us, Sahl ibn 'Uthman narrated to us, al-Muharibi narrated to us from Muhammad ibn Ishaq from Dawud ibn al-Husayn from 'Ikrimah from Ibn 'Abbas: "And a lesson for those who are pious," (those) who are after them until the Day of Resurrection.
685 - 'Isam ibn Rawwad narrated to us, Adam narrated to us, Abu Ja'far narrated to us from al-Rabi' from Abu al-'Aliyah: "And a lesson for those who are pious," he said: A lesson for the pious in particular.
686 - al-Hasan ibn Ahmad narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bashshar narrated to us, Surur ibn al-Mughirah narrated to us from 'Abbad ibn Mansur from al-Hasan: "And a lesson for those who are pious," after them, so that they may fear the punishment of Allah and be wary of it. A similar statement to that of al-Hasan was narrated from Qatadah.
The second perspective:
687 - My father narrated to me, Yahya al-Himmani narrated to us, Ya'qub al-Qummi narrated to us from Mutarrif from 'Atiyyah regarding His saying: "And a lesson for those who are pious," he said: For the Ummah of Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, that they do not commit heresy in the sanctuary of Allah.
688 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Hammad ibn Talhah narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us from al-Suddi: "And a lesson for those who are pious," he said: They are the Ummah of Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
His saying: And when Moses said to his people
689 - And with the same chain from al-Suddi, he said: They said to Moses: "O Messenger of Allah, pray for us so that it may be clarified to us who the owner is, so that he may be seized; for by Allah, his blood money is trifling for us." So Moses said to them: "Indeed, Allah commands you to slaughter a cow."

٦٨٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ الْقُمِّيُّ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ فِي قَوْلِهِ:
وَمَا خَلْفَهَا لِمَا كَانَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ مِنْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، لا يعملوا فيها بمثل أعمالهم.

٦٨٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ثنا الْمُحَارِبِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: وَمَوْعِظَةً لِلْمُتَّقِينَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِمْ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ.
٦٨٥ - حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ رَوَّادٍ ثنا آدَمُ، ثنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ:
وَمَوْعِظَةً لِلْمُتَّقِينَ قَالَ: مَوْعِظَةً لِلْمُتَّقِينَ خَاصَّةً.
٦٨٦ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَشَّارٍ ثنا سُرُورُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ: وَمَوْعِظَةً لِلْمُتَّقِينَ بَعْدَهُمْ فَيَتَّقُوا نِقْمَةَ اللَّهِ وَيْحَذَرُوهَا. وَرُوِيَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ نَحْوُ قَوْلِ الْحَسَنِ.
الْوَجْهُ الثَّانِي:
٦٨٧ - حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ الْقُمِّيُّ عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَمَوْعِظَةً لِلْمُتَّقِينَ قَالَ: لأُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، لا يلحدوا فِي حَرَمِ اللَّهِ.
٦٨٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ حَمَّادٍ بن طلحة ثنا أسباط عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ:
وَمَوْعِظَةً لِلْمُتَّقِينَ قَالَ: فَهُمْ أُمَّةُ مُحَمَّد- صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
قَوْلُهُ: وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَى لِقَوْمِهِ
٦٨٩ - وَبِهِ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ قَالَ: قَالُوا لِمُوسَى: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، ادْعُ لَنَا حَتَّى يُبَيِّنَ لَنَا مَنْ صَاحِبُهُ فيؤخذ، فو الله إِنَّ دِيَتَهُ عَلَيْنَا لَهَيِّنَةٌ، فَقَالَ لَهُمْ مُوسَى: إن الله يأمركم أن تذبحوا بقرة.
