مجلد 1 · صفحة 129قوله: فاقع لونها

الترجمة · EN

706 - al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn al-Sabah narrated to us, Shababah narrated to us, Warqa' narrated to us from Ibn Abi Najih from Mujahid, who said: "He says, 'Indeed, it is a yellow cow,' so if they had taken a yellow cow of this description, it would have sufficed them." And it was narrated similarly from Wahb ibn Munabbih.

As for those who interpreted it as yellow in the horn and hoof:

707 - Ahmad ibn 'Uthman ibn Hakim narrated to us, 'Ali ibn Hakim narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us from al-A'mash from Maghra' from Ibn 'Umar regarding His saying: "Yellow," he said: "Yellow of hoof."

708 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashaj narrated to us, Hafs ibn Ghiyath narrated to us from Layth from Maghra' from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding His saying: "Yellow," he said: "Yellow of horn and hoof."

And those who interpreted it as black:

709 - My father narrated to us, Nasr ibn 'Ali narrated to us, Nuh ibn Qays reported, Abu Raja' reported from al-Hasan regarding His saying: "A yellow cow," he said: "Black, intense in blackness."

His saying: "Bright its color"

As for those who interpreted it as the intensity of yellow:

710 - 'Isam ibn Rawwad narrated to us, Adam narrated to us, Abu Shaybah - Shu'ayb ibn Zurayq - narrated to us from 'Ata' al-Khurasani: "Bright its color," [he said]: "Intense in yellowness."

As for those who interpreted it as the clarity of color:

711 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashaj narrated to us, Hafs ibn Ghiyath narrated to us from Layth from Maghra' from Sa'id ibn Jubayr: "Bright its color," he said: "Clear in color." And something similar to that was narrated from al-Hasan, Abu al-'Aliyah, al-Suddi, Qatadah, and al-Rabi' ibn Anas.

712 - Ahmad ibn 'Uthman ibn Hakim narrated to us, 'Ali ibn Hakim narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us from al-A'mash from Maghra' from Ibn 'Umar regarding His saying: "Bright," he said: "Clear."

As for those who interpreted it as 'it nearly turns black from its yellowness':

713 - My father narrated to us, Ibn Numayr narrated to us, Ibn Idris narrated to us from his father from 'Atiyyah al-'Awfi: "Bright its color, it nearly turns black from its yellowness."
