His saying: "you will find it with Allah"
1092 - 'Isam ibn Rawwad narrated to us, Adam narrated to us, from Abu Ja'far al-Razi, from al-Rabi' ibn Anas, from Abu al-'Aliyah regarding His saying: "you will find it with Allah," he says: You will find its reward with Allah. Similar was narrated from al-Rabi' ibn Anas.
1093 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Ibn Bukayr narrated to us, from Ibn Lahi'ah, from Yazid ibn Abi Habib, from Abu al-Khayr, from 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir, he said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) reciting this verse: "All-Hearing, All-Seeing" [and] he would say: "All-Seeing of everything."
His saying: "And they said, 'None will enter Paradise except one who is a Jew or a Christian.'"
1094 - 'Isam ibn Rawwad narrated to us, Adam narrated to us, from Abu Ja'far, from al-Rabi', from Abu al-'Aliyah, he said: The Jews said, "None will enter Paradise except a Jew." And the Christians said, "None will enter Paradise except a Christian." Similar was narrated from Mujahid, al-Rabi', and al-Suddi.
His saying: "That is their wishful thinking"
1095 - 'Isam ibn Rawwad narrated to us, Adam narrated to us, from Abu Ja'far, from al-Rabi', from Abu al-'Aliyah, Allah says: "That is their wishful thinking," he says: Wishes they desired from Allah without truth. Similar was narrated from Qatadah and al-Rabi' ibn Anas.
His saying: "Say, 'Produce your proof'"
1096 - Through the same chain from Abu al-'Aliyah: "Say, 'Produce your proof'" i.e., your argument. Similar was narrated from Mujahid, al-Suddi, and al-Rabi'.
1097 - Muhammad ibn 'Ubayd Allah ibn al-Munadi informed us in what he wrote to me, Yunus ibn Muhammad al-Mu'addib narrated to us, Shayban al-Nahwi narrated to us, from Qatadah: "Say, 'Produce your proof'" he said: Your evidence for that, if you are truthful.
His saying: "if you should be truthful"
1098 - 'Isam ibn Rawwad narrated to us, Adam narrated to us, from Abu Ja'far, from al-Rabi', from Abu al-'Aliyah: "if you should be truthful" in what you say, that it is as you say. Similar was narrated from al-Rabi' ibn Anas.
قوله: تَجِدُوهُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ
١٠٩٢ - حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ رَوَّادٍ ثنا آدَمُ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الرَّازِيِّ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ فِي
قَوْلِهِ: تَجِدُوهُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ فَيَقُولُ: تَجِدُوا ثَوَابَهُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَرُوِيَ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.
١٠٩٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ ثنا ابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ- صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ- وَهُوَ يقترى هَذِهِ الآيَةَ: سَمِيعٌ بَصِيرٌ يَقُولُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ بَصِيرٌ.
قَوْلُهُ: وَقَالُوا لَنْ يَدْخُلَ الْجَنَّةَ إِلا مَنْ كَانَ هُودًا أَوْ نصارى
١٠٩٤ - حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ رَوَّادٍ ثنا آدَمُ عَنْ أبي جعفر عن الربيع عن ابن الْعَالِيَةِ قَالَ: قَالَتِ الْيَهُودُ: لَنْ يَدْخُلَ الْجَنَّةَ إِلا يَهُودِيٌّ. وَقَالَتِ النَّصَارَى: لَنْ يَدْخُلَ الْجَنَّةَ إِلا نَصْرَانِيٌّ. وَرُوِيَ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، وَالرَّبِيعِ، وَالسُّدِّيِّ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.
قوله: تِلْكَ أَمَانِيُّهُمْ
١٠٩٥ - حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ رَوَّادٍ ثنا آدَمُ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ: تِلْكَ أَمَانِيُّهُمْ يَقُولُ: أَمَانِيٌّ تَمَنَّوْهَا عَلَى اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ.
وَرُوِيَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، وَالرَّبِيعِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.
قوله: قُلْ هَاتُوا بُرْهَانَكُمْ
١٠٩٦ - بِهِ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ: قُلْ هَاتُوا بُرْهَانَكُمْ أَيْ حُجَّتَكُمْ.
وَرُوِيَ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، وَالسُّدِّيِّ، وَالرَّبِيعِ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.
١٠٩٧ - أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُنَادِي فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُؤَدِّبُ ثنا شَيْبَانُ النَّحْوِيُّ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ: قُلْ هَاتُوا بُرْهَانَكُمْ قَالَ: بَيِّنَتَكُمْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ.
قوله: إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
١٠٩٨ - حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ رَوَّادٍ ثنا آدَمُ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ:
إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ بِمَا تَقُولُونَ إِنَّهُ كَمَا تَقُولُونَ. وَرُوِيَ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.
