The second aspect:

1131 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from Mutarrif, from 'Atiyyah, from Ibn 'Abbas, he said: Qanitin means those who pray.

And the third aspect:

1132 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Ali ibn Hamzah narrated to us, 'Ali ibn al-Husayn—meaning Ibn Waqid—narrated to me, from his father, from Yazid al-Nahwi, from 'Ikrimah regarding His saying: "All are devoutly obedient to Him," he said: All are acknowledging Him with servitude. It was narrated from Abu Malik similarly.

And the fourth aspect:

1133 - My father narrated to us, Ahmad ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Dashtaki narrated to us, 'Abd Allah ibn Abi Ja'far narrated to us, from his father, from al-Rabi' ibn Anas: "All are devoutly obedient to Him," means all are standing before Him on the Day of Resurrection.

And the fifth aspect:

1134 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Muhammad ibn 'Ali ibn Hamzah narrated to us, Yahya ibn Ishaq and Habban narrated to us, from 'Abd Allah, from Sharik, from Salim, from Sa'id: "All are devoutly obedient to Him," he says: Sincerity (al-ikhlas).

His saying: "Originator of the heavens and the earth."

1135 - 'Isam ibn Rawwad narrated to us, Adam narrated to us, from Abu Ja'far, from al-Rabi', from Abu al-'Aliyah—meaning His saying: "Originator of the heavens and the earth"—He originated their creation, and no one partnered with Him in their creation. It was narrated from al-Rabi' similarly.

1136 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Hammad ibn Talhah narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi: "Originator of the heavens and the earth," he says: He originated them and created them, and He did not create anything before them so that He would follow that pattern. It was narrated from Mujahid similarly.

His saying: "And when He decrees a matter, He only says to it, 'Be,' and it is."

1137 - Muhammad ibn Yahya narrated to us, Abu Ghassan narrated to us, Salamah narrated to us, he said: Muhammad ibn Ishaq said: When He decrees a matter, He says to it from what He wills, and it is how He intended."

١١٣٢ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ حَمْزَةَ حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ- يَعْنِي ابْنَ وَاقِدٍ- عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ يَزِيدَ النَّحْوِيِّ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ فِي قَوْلِهِ: كُلٌّ لَهُ قَانِتُونَ قَالَ: كُلٌّ لَهُ مُقِرُّونَ بِالْعُبُودِيَّةِ. وَرُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ نَحْوُهُ.

١١٣٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّشْتَكِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ: كُلٌّ لَهُ قَانِتُونَ كُلٌّ لَهُ قَائِمٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ.

وَالوجه الْخَامِسُ:

١١٣٤ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ علي بن حمزة ثنا نحيى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ وَحَبَّانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ شَرِيكٍ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ: كُلٌّ لَهُ قانتون يقول:

الإخلاص.

قوله: بديع السماوات وَالأَرْضِ

١١٣٥ - حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ رَوَّادٍ ثنا آدَمُ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ- يَعْنِي قوله: بديع السماوات وَالأَرْضِ ابْتَدَعَ خَلْقَهَا، وَلَمْ يُشْرِكْهُ فِي خَلْقِهَا أَحَدٌ.

وَرُوِيَ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.

١١٣٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ حَمَّادِ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ:

بديع السماوات وَالأَرْضِ يقول: ابْتَدَعَهَا فَخَلَقَهَا، وَلَمْ يَخْلُقْ قَبْلَهَا شَيْئًا فَيَمْتَثِلُ عَلَيْهِ. وَرُوِيَ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.

قَوْلُهُ: وَإِذَا قَضَى أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ

١١٣٧ - حدثنا محمد بن نحيى ثنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ ثنا سَلَمَةُ قَالَ: قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ إِذَا قَضَى أَمْرًا يَقُولُ: مِمَّا يَشَاءُ. وَكَيْفَ فَيَكُونُ كَمَا أَرَادَ.
