And after His statement: "And take from the Maqam of Ibrahim a place of prayer," he said: The flood took it away after 'Umar moved it from this place of his, so 'Umar returned it to it. Sufyan said: I do not know how much [distance] was between it and the Ka'bah before it was moved. Sufyan said: I do not know if it was attached to it or not.

1201 - Sahl ibn Bahr al-'Askari narrated to us at al-Rayy, Ja'far ibn Humayd narrated to us, Ibn al-Mubarak informed us, from Zakariyya ibn Ishaq, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid regarding: "And take from the Maqam of Ibrahim a place of prayer," he said: A place of supplication.

1202 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Hammad ibn Talhah narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi regarding: "And take from the Maqam of Ibrahim a place of prayer," he said: It is the prayer at its station during the Hajj.
His statement: "And We covenanted with Ibrahim"
1203 - Al-Hasan ibn Ahmad narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bashar narrated to us, Surur ibn al-Mughirah narrated to me, from 'Abbad ibn Mansur regarding His statement: "And We covenanted with Ibrahim and Isma'il," he said: Allah commanded them to purify it from filth and impurity, and that nothing of that should touch it.

1204 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Hammad ibn Talhah narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi regarding: "Purify My House," he said: Build My House.

1205 - Ahmad ibn 'Isam al-Ansari narrated to us, Abu 'Asim al-Nabil narrated to us, 'Abd Allah ibn Hurmuz narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His statement: "Purify My House for those who perform Tawaf and those who reside for worship," he said: [Purify it] from idols.
1206 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashaj narrated to us, Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from 'Abd Allah ibn Muslim ibn Hurmuz, from Mujahid and Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding: "Purify My House for those who perform Tawaf," [he said] that this is from idols, doubts, false speech, and impurity.
صلي الله علي وَسَلَّمَ-. وَبَعْدَ قَوْلِهِ: وَاتَّخِذُوا مِنْ مَقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى قَالَ: ذَهَبَ السَّيْلُ بِهِ بَعْدَ تَحْوِيلِ عُمَرَ إياه من موضعه هذا، فرده عُمَرُ إِلَيْهِ. وَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ: لَا أَدْرِي كَمْ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْكَعْبَةِ قَبْلَ تَحْوِيلِهِ. قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: لَا أَدْرِي أَكَانَ لاصِقًا بِهَا أَمْ لَا

١٢٠٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ حَمَّادِ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ:
وَاتَّخِذُوا مِنْ مَقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى فَهُوَ الصَّلاةُ عِنْدَ مَقَامِهِ فِي الْحَجِّ.
قَوْلُهُ: وَعَهِدْنَا إِلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ
١٢٠٣ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنِي سُرُورُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ قَوْلُهُ: وَعَهِدْنَا إِلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ: أَمَرَهُمَا اللَّهُ أَنْ يُطَهِّرَاهُ مِنَ الأَذَى وَالنَّجَسِ، وَلا يُصِيبَهُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ شَيْءٌ.

١٢٠٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عِصَامٍ الأَنْصَارِيُّ ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ النَّبِيلُ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ هُرْمُزَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: طَهِّرَا بَيْتِيَ لِلطَّائِفِينَ وَالْعَاكِفِينَ قَالَ: مِنَ الأَوْثَانِ.
١٢٠٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ ثنا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ هُرْمُزَ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ وَسَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ: طهرا بيتي للطائفين أَنَّ ذَلِكَ مِنَ الأَوْثَانِ وَالرِّيَبِ، وَقَوْلِ الزُّورِ والرجس.
