1207 - My father narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Rafi' narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Abjar narrated to us, from 'Ata' ibn al-Sa'ib, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr [regarding the verse]: "Purify My House with 'La ilaha illa Allah' (there is no god but Allah) from polytheism." It was reported similarly from 'Ubayd ibn 'Umayr, Abu al-'Aliyah, Qatadah, Mujahid, and 'Ata'.
His statement: "For those who perform Tawaf"
[The First Aspect]
1208 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashaj and 'Amr al-Awdi narrated to us, they said: Waki' narrated to us, from Abu Bakr al-Hudhali, from 'Ata', from Ibn 'Abbas, he said: When he is standing, he is among those performing Tawaf.
[The Second Aspect]
1209 - My father narrated to us, Muslim ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, Abu Bakr al-Hudhali narrated to us, from 'Ata' regarding His statement: "Purify My House for those who perform Tawaf," he said: Whoever circumambulates it is among those performing Tawaf. It was reported similarly from Muqatil ibn Hayyan.

1210 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, Yahya ibn Khalaf narrated to us, 'Abd al-A'la narrated to us, from Sa'id, from Qatadah regarding "for those who perform Tawaf," he said: Those who perform Tawaf are those who embrace it.
[The Fourth Aspect:]
1211 - My father narrated to us, 'Ali ibn Ishaq al-Samarqandi narrated to us, Abu Bakr—meaning Ibn 'Ayyash—informed us, from Abu Husayn, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding His statement: "For those who perform Tawaf," he said: Whoever comes to it from a distant land.
His statement: "And those who reside [for worship]"

1212 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashaj narrated to us, Waki' narrated to us, from Abu Bakr al-Hudhali, from 'Ata', from Ibn 'Abbas: "And those who reside [for worship]," he said: When he is sitting, he is among those who reside [for worship]. It was reported similarly from 'Ata'.

1213 - 'Isam ibn Rawwad narrated to us, Adam narrated to us, from Abu Ja'far al-Razi, Qatadah said: "And those who reside [for worship]," he said: Those who reside are its own people. It was reported similarly from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, Qatadah, and al-Rabi'.
