His statement: "The religion of Allah (Sibghat Allah)."

[The First Aspect]

1313 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Minjab narrated to us, Bishr ibn 'Umarah informed us, from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His statement: "The religion of Allah (Sibghat Allah)," he said: The religion of Allah. Similar has been reported from Abu al-'Aliyah, Mujahid, al-Hasan, Ibrahim al-Nakha'i, 'Abd Allah ibn Kathir, al-Dahhak, Qatadah, 'Ikrimah, 'Atiyyah, al-Rabi' ibn Anas, and al-Suddi.

The Second Aspect:

1314 - Abu Bakr ibn al-Qasim ibn 'Atiyyah narrated to us, Ahmad ibn 'Abd al-Rahman al-Dashtaki narrated to us, my father narrated to us, from his father, he said: Ash'ath narrated to us, from Ja'far ibn Abi al-Mughirah, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas: That the Children of Israel said: O Musa, does your Lord dye? He said: Fear Allah. Then his Lord called to him: O Musa, they asked you if your Lord dyes? Say: Yes. I dye colors: red, white, and black, and all colors are in My dye. So Allah revealed to His Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace: "The religion of Allah (Sibghat Allah). And who is better than Allah at dyeing? And we are His worshippers." Similar has been reported from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd.

His statement: "And who is better than Allah at dyeing? And we are His worshippers."

1315 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from Abu Ja'far al-Razi, from al-Rabi' ibn Anas, from Abu al-'Aliyah: "And who is better than Allah at dyeing?" He said: And who is better than Allah in religion? Similar has been reported from Mujahid, Ibrahim al-Nakha'i, al-Hasan, al-Suddi, al-Rabi' ibn Anas, and 'Abd Allah ibn Kathir.

His statement: "Say, do you argue with us about Allah while He is our Lord and your Lord?"

1316 - It was mentioned from Muhammad ibn al-Salt, Bishr ibn 'Umarah narrated to us, from Abu Rawq, from al-Dahhak, from Ibn 'Abbas: "Say, do you argue with us about Allah?" He said: Do you dispute with us regarding Allah?
