1388 - al-Hasan ibn Ahmad narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bashshar narrated to us, Surur ibn al-Mughirah narrated to me, from 'Abbad ibn Mansur, from al-Hasan, regarding: "So that there will be no argument for the people against you, except for those who have wronged among them," he says: No one will argue against you regarding that except for an oppressor. Therefore, turn your faces toward it, so that the oppressors may not have an argument against you.
His saying: "Except for those who have wronged among them."
1389 - 'Isam ibn Rawwad narrated to us, Adam narrated to us, Abu Ja'far narrated to us, from al-Rabi', from Abu al-'Aliyah: His saying: "Except for those who have wronged among them," meaning: The polytheists of Quraysh. He says: They will argue against you regarding that. Similar to this was narrated from Mujahid, 'Ata', Qatadah, and al-Rabi' ibn Anas.
His saying: "So do not fear them, but fear Me, and [it is] so I may complete My favor upon you and that you may be guided."
1390 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Hammad ibn Talhah narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi: "So do not fear them, but fear Me," he says: Do not fear that I will return you to their religion.
His saying: "Just as We sent among you."
1391 - al-Hajjaj ibn Hamzah narrated to us, Shababah narrated to us, Warqa' narrated to us, from ibn Najih, from Mujahid (1): "Just as We sent among you," he says: Just as I have done, so remember Me.
His saying: "A messenger from among yourselves."
1392 - My father narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Khalaf al-'Asqalani narrated to us, Adam narrated to us, Abu Ja'far narrated to us, al-Rabi' ibn Anas narrated to me, from Abu al-'Aliyah, regarding His saying: "Just as We sent among you a messenger from among yourselves," meaning: Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Similar to this was narrated from al-Rabi' ibn Anas.
His saying: "Reciting to you Our verses and purifying you."
1393 - I read to Muhammad ibn 'Ali ibn al-Hasan ibn Shaqiq, Muhammad ibn Muzahim narrated to us, from Bukayr ibn Ma'ruf, from Muqatil ibn Hayyan, regarding His saying: "And purifying you," he said: And cleansing you of sins.

١٣٨٨ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنِي سُرُورُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ: لِئَلَّا يَكُونَ لِلنَّاسِ عَلَيْكُمْ حُجَّةٌ إِلَّا الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مِنْهُمْ يَقُولُ: لَنْ يَحْتَجَّ عَلَيْكُمْ بِذَلِكَ إِلا ظَالِمٌ، فَوَلُّوا وُجُوهَكُمْ شَطْرَهُ، لِئَلا يَحْتَجَّ عَلَيْكُمُ الظُّلْمَةُ.
قوله: إِلا الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا مِنْهُمْ
١٣٨٩ - حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ رَوَّادٍ، ثنا آدَمُ، ثنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ: قَوْلُهُ: إِلا الَّذِين ظَلَمُوا مِنْهُمْ: يَعْنِي: مُشْرِكِي قُرَيْشٍ، يَقُولُ: إِنَّهُمْ سَيَحْتَجُّونَ عَلَيْكُمْ بِذَلِكَ. وَرُوِيَ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، وَعَطَاءٍ وَقَتَادَةَ، وَالرَّبِيعِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.
قَوْلُهُ: فَلا تَخْشَوْهُمْ وَاخْشَوْنِي وَلأُتِمَّ نِعْمَتِي عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ
١٣٩٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ حَمَّادِ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ، ثنا أَسْبَاطٌ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ:
فَلا تَخْشَوْهُمْ وَاخْشَوْنِي يَقُولُ: لَا تَخْشَوْا أَنْ أَرُدَّكُمْ فِي دِينِهِمْ.

قَوْلُهُ: رَسُولا مِنْكُمْ
١٣٩٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ الْعَسْقَلانِيُّ، ثنا آدَمُ، ثنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ فِي قَوْلِهِ: كَمَا أَرْسَلْنَا فِيكُمْ رَسُولا مِنْكُمْ يَعْنِي: مُحَمَّدًا صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ. وَرُوِيَ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.
قَوْلُهُ: يتلوا عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتِنَا وَيُزَكِّيكُمْ
١٣٩٣ - قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُزَاحِمٍ، عَنْ بُكَيْرِ بْنِ مَعْرُوفٍ، عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ، قَوْلُهُ: وَيُزَكِّيكُمْ قَالَ: وَيُطَهِّرُكُمْ من الذنوب.
