1543 - 'Amr ibn Thawr al-Qaysari informed us in what he wrote to me, al-Firyabi narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, a man narrated to me from al-Dahhak ibn Muzahim regarding His saying: "But righteousness is he who fears [Allah]" - meaning: to perform the obligatory duties as they should be performed.
1544 - My father narrated to us, Ibn Abi 'Umar narrated to us, he said: Sufyan said: "But righteousness is he who believes in Allah" - he said: All types of righteousness.
His saying: "But righteousness is he who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets"
1545 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bukayr narrated to us, 'Abd Allah ibn Lahi'ah narrated to me, 'Ata' ibn Dinar narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding the saying of Allah: "But righteousness is he who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets" - that it is the truth.
His saying: "And gives wealth upon his love [of it]"
Through the same chain from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding the saying of Allah: "And gives wealth" - meaning: he gives the wealth. It is reported from Muqatil ibn Hayyan something similar.

1546 - 'Amr ibn 'Abd Allah al-Awdi and al-Ahmasi narrated to us, they said: Waki' narrated to us, from al-A'mash and Sufyan, from Zubayd, from Murrah, from 'Abd Allah regarding "And gives wealth upon his love [of it]", he said: That you give it while you are healthy and covetous, hoping for life and fearing poverty.
1547 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bukayr narrated to us, 'Abd Allah ibn Lahi'ah narrated to me, 'Ata' ibn Dinar narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr: "And gives wealth upon his love [of it]" - meaning: upon his love of the wealth.
1548 - My father narrated to us, Yahya ibn 'Abd al-Hamid narrated to us, Sharik narrated to us, from Abu Hamzah, from al-Sha'bi, Fatimah bint Qays narrated to me that she asked the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace: "Is there any duty in wealth other than Zakah?" She said: So he recited to me: "And gives wealth upon his love [of it]."
١٥٤٣ - أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ ثَوْرٍ الْقَيْسَارِيُّ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ، ثنا الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ مُزَاحِمٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَلَكِنَّ الْبِرَّ مَنِ اتَّقَى أَنْ تُؤَدُّوا الْفَرَائِضَ عَلَى وُجُوهِهَا.
١٥٤٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، قَالَ: قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: وَلَكِنَّ الْبِرَّ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ قَالَ: أَنْوَاعُ الْبِرِّ كُلُّهَا.
قَوْلُهُ: وَلَكِنَّ الْبِرَّ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالْكِتَابِ والنبيين
١٥٤٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: وَلَكِنَّ الْبِرَّ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَالْمَلائِكَةِ وَالْكِتَابِ وَالنَّبِيِّينَ أَنَّهُ حَقٌّ.
قَوْلُهُ: وَآتَى الْمَالَ عَلَى حُبِّهِ
وَبِهِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: وَآتَى الْمَالَ يَعْنِي: أَعْطَى الْمَالَ. وَرُوِيَ عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.

١٥٤٦ - حَدَّثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الأَوْدِيُّ وَالأَحْمَسِيُّ، قَالا، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ وَسُفْيَانَ، عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَآتَى الْمَالَ عَلَى حُبِّهِ قَالَ: أَنْ تُؤْتِيَهُ وَأَنْتَ صَحِيحٌ شَحِيحٌ، تَأْمُلُ الْعَيْشَ وَتَخْشَى الْفَقْرَ.
١٥٤٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ وَآتَى الْمَالَ عَلَى حُبِّهِ يَعْنِي: عَلَى حُبِّهِ الْمَالَ.
١٥٤٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ، ثنا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، حَدَّثَتْنِي فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ قَيْسٍ، أَنَّهَا سَأَلْتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَفِي الْمَالِ حَقٌّ سِوَى الزَّكَاةِ؟ قَالَتْ: فتلا علي: وآتى الْمَالَ عَلَى حُبِّهِ
