The ninth view:
1751 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Abu Usamah narrated to us, from 'Awf, from al-Hasan regarding [the verse]: "And do not throw [yourselves] with your [own] hands into destruction," he said: It is stinginess.
His saying: "And do good; indeed, Allah loves the doers of good."

1752 - Abu 'Abd Allah al-Tahrani narrated to us, Hafs ibn 'Umar al-'Adani informed us, al-Hakam ibn Aban narrated to us, from 'Ikrimah regarding His saying: "And do good; indeed, Allah loves the doers of good," he said: Think well of Allah, and He will be benevolent toward you.
The second view:
1753 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Ibn Yaman and Abu Usamah narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Abu Ishaq, regarding His saying: "And do good; indeed, Allah loves the doers of good," he said: In performing the obligatory acts (fara'id).
In the hadith of Ibn Yaman: In the five prayers.
1754 - Al-Hajjaj ibn Hamzah narrated to us, Ibn Abi al-Hawwari narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Thabit narrated to us, he said: We entered upon Fudayl ibn 'Iyad, and he said to us: Know that if a servant were to perform every good deed perfectly, yet he owned a hen and treated it poorly, he would not be among the doers of good (muhsinin).

1755 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj and 'Amr al-Awdi narrated to us, they both said: Waki' narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from 'Amr ibn Murrah, from 'Abd Allah ibn Salamah, he said: 'Ali was asked about: "And complete the Hajj and 'Umrah for Allah," he said: You enter into the state of ihram from your own home.
It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas, Tawus, and Sa'id ibn Jubayr something similar.
The second view:
1756 - My father narrated to us, Mahmud ibn Khalid narrated to us, al-Walid ibn Muslim narrated to us, Ibn Jabir narrated to us, that he heard Makhul and asked him about the saying of Allah: "And complete the Hajj and 'Umrah for Allah," he said: Completing them is to initiate them both from the Miqat.

١٧٥٢ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الطِّهْرَانِيُّ، أَنْبَأَ حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الْعَدَنِيُّ، ثنا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ أَبَانَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَأَحْسِنُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ قَالَ: أَحْسِنُوا الظَّنَّ بِاللَّهِ، يَبَرَّ بِكُمْ.

١٧٥٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ، ثنا ابْنُ يَمَانٍ وَأَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، فِي قَوْلِهِ: وَأَحْسِنُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ قَالَ: فِي أَدَاءِ الْفَرَائِضِ.
وَفِي حَدِيثِ ابْنِ يَمَانٍ: فِي الصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسِ.
١٧٥٤ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي الْحَوَارِيِّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ:
دَخَلْنَا عَلَى فُضَيْلِ بْنِ عِيَاضٍ، فَقَالَ لَنَا: اعْلَمُوا أَنَّ الْعَبْدَ لَوْ أَحْسَنَ الإِحْسَانَ كُلَّهُ وَكَانَتْ لَهُ دَجَاجَةٌ، فَأَسَاءَ إِلَيْهَا لَمْ يَكُنْ مِنَ الْمُحْسِنِينَ.

١٧٥٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ الأَشَجُّ وَعَمْرٌو الأَوْدِيُّ، قَالا، ثنا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ: سُئِلَ عَلِيٌّ وَأَتِمُّوا الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ لِلَّهِ قَالَ: تُحْرِمُ مِنْ دُوَيْرَةِ أَهْلِكَ.
وَرُوِيَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَطَاوُسٍ وَسَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ نَحْوُ ذَلِكَ.
وَالْوَجْهُ الثَّانِي:
١٧٥٦ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، ثنا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، ثنا ابْنُ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مَكْحُولا وَسَأَلَهُ، عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: وَأَتِمُّوا الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ لِلَّهِ قَالَ: إِتْمَامُهُمَا:
إِنْشَاؤُهُمَا جَمِيعًا مِنَ الْمِيقَاتِ.
