[The Fourth View]
1804 - Ibn al-Muqri' narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid and Tawus, who both said: There is no harm for the one performing tamattu' to fast a day in Shawwal and a day in Dhu al-Qa'dah, and the last of them being the Day of 'Arafah.

[The First Aspect]
1805 - Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Malik ibn Zanjawayh narrated to us, 'Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, al-Thawri reported, from Yahya ibn Sa'id, Salim informed me, he said: I heard Ibn 'Umar saying: "So whoever cannot find, then a fast of three days during the Hajj and seven when you have returned," he said: When he returns to his family. Sa'id ibn Jubayr, Abu al-'Aliyah, Mujahid, 'Ata', 'Ikrimah, al-Hasan, al-Zuhri, Qatadah, and al-Rabi' ibn Anas narrated something similar.
[The Second Aspect]
1806 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj narrated to us, Hafs narrated to us, from Hajjaj, from 'Ata': "And seven when you have returned," he said: If he wishes, he may fast them when he returns, and if he wishes, in Makkah.
1807 - Ahmad ibn Sinan narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman narrated to us, from Sufyan, from 'Abd al-Karim al-Jazari, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr: "And seven when you have returned," he said: And if he stays in Makkah, if he wishes, he may fast it.
[The Third Aspect]
1808 - Abu Sa'id al-Ashajj and 'Amr ibn 'Abd Allah narrated to us, they both said: Waki' narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Mansur, from Mujahid: "And seven when you have returned," he said: If he wishes, he may fast them on the road; it is only a concession. It was narrated from 'Ata' something similar.
His saying: "Those are ten complete"
1809 - My father narrated to us, Abu Ma'mar Isma'il ibn Ibrahim ibn Ma'mar narrated to us, Hushaym narrated to us, from 'Abbad ibn Rashid, from al-Hasan, regarding His saying: "Those are ten complete," he said: Of the offering.
