For this reason, the best method of interpretation is for the Qur'an to be interpreted by the Qur'an; for what is summarized in one place is indeed elaborated upon in another. If that proves difficult for you, then you must turn to the Sunnah, for it is the explainer of the Qur'an and the clarifier of it.
The Library has been, and continues to be, committed to publishing beneficial Islamic knowledge, especially the sciences related to the Book of Allah (the Exalted and Majestic).
Since the science of Tafsir (exegesis) is among the noblest of sciences due to its connection to the noblest heavenly Book revealed by Allah (the Exalted and Majestic), the Library decided to undertake the publication of an interpretation of the Book of the Lord—may His power be glorified and exalted—that is understandable to both the general and the specialized reader. The Library has collated the copies of the Tafsir against several manuscripts, aiming to reach a reliable version.
As the Library presents this Tafsir to the Muslim nation, it hopes that Allah (the Exalted and Majestic) will record this work in the scrolls of deeds of everyone who acted upon it, that Allah will accept it and place it in the balance of good deeds, and that He will cause the Muslims to benefit from it in all parts of the earth, "the Day when there will not benefit [anyone] wealth or children, but only one who comes to Allah with a sound heart."
