and peace: "There is no servant except that he has two gates in the heaven: a gate from which his deeds ascend, and a gate from which his sustenance descends upon him. So when he dies, they both miss him and weep over him." And he recited this verse: "And the heaven and the earth wept not for them." He mentioned that they did not perform on the face of the earth any righteous deed for which one would weep over them, nor did any good speech or righteous deed of theirs ascend to the heaven, so the heaven and earth would not miss them to weep over them. 18551 - From Abbad ibn Abdullah, from him, he said: A man asked Ali, "Does the heaven and the earth weep for anyone?" He said: "There is not a servant except that he has a place of prayer on the earth and an ascension for his deeds in the heaven. And indeed, the family of Pharaoh did not have any righteous deed on the earth, nor an ascension in the heaven." (2)
18552 - From Ubayd al-Maktab, from Ibrahim - may Allah be pleased with him - he said: The heaven has not wept since the world was created, except for two. It was said to Ubayd: "Does not the heaven and the earth weep for the believer?" He said: "That is his station and where his deed ascends." He said: "And do you know what the weeping of the heaven is?" He said: "No." He said: "It turns red and becomes like a rose, like stained leather. Indeed, when Yahya ibn Zakariyya was killed, the heaven turned red and dripped blood. And when Husayn ibn Ali was killed, the heaven turned red." (3)
18553 - By way of Abd al-Razzaq, from Ma'mar, from Ibn Abi Dhi'b, from al-Maqburi, from Abu Hurayrah - may Allah be pleased with him - from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, who said: "I do not know if the prescribed punishments (hudud) are an expiation for their people or not? And I do not know if Tubba' was accursed or not? And I do not know if Dhu al-Qarnayn was a prophet or a king?" And someone else said: "Was Uzayr a prophet or not?" (4)
18554 - From Sahl ibn Sa'd al-Sa'idi, may Allah be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "Do not revile Tubba', for he had indeed accepted Islam." (5)
18556 - Ma'mar informed us, from Ibn Abi Dhi'b, from al-Maqburi, from Abu Hurayrah - may Allah be pleased with him - he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "I do not know if Tubba' was a prophet or not a prophet?" (6)

وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ إِلا وَلَهُ فِي السَّمَاءِ بَابَانِ بَابٌ يَصْعَدُ مِنْهُ عَمَلُهُ، وَبَابٌ ينزل عليه منه رِزْقِهِ فَإِذَا مَاتَ فَقَدَاهُ وَبَكَيَا عَلَيْهِ، وَتَلا هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ: فَمَا بَكَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّمَاءُ وَالْأَرْضُ وَذَكَرَ أَنَّهُمْ لَمْ يَكُونُوا يَعْمَلُونَ عَلَى وَجْهِ الْأَرْضِ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا يُبْكَى عَلَيْهِمْ، وَلَمْ يَصْعَدْ لَهُمْ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ مِنْ كَلامِهِمْ وَلا مِنْ عَمَلِهِمْ كَلامٌ طَيِّبٌ وَلا عَمَلٌ صَالِحٌ، فَتَفْقِدُهُمْ فَتَبْكِي عَلَيْهِمْ «١» .
١٨٥٥١ - عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عنه قَالَ: سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ عَلِيًّا، هَلْ تَبْكِي السَّمَاءُ وَالْأَرْضُ عَلَى أَحَدٍ؟ فَقَالَ: إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ مِنْ عَبْدٍ إِلا لَهُ مُصَلًّى فِي الْأَرْضِ ومِصْعَدُ عَمَلِهِ فِي السَّمَاءِ. وَإِنَّ آلَ فِرْعَونَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُمْ عَمَلٌ صَالِحٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ، وَلا مِصْعَدٌ فِي السَّمَاءِ «٢» .
١٨٥٥٢ - عَنْ عُبَيْدٍ الْمُكْتِبِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ- رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ- قَالَ: مَا بَكَتِ السَّمَاءُ مَنْذُ كَانَتِ الدُّنْيَا، إِلا عَلَى اثْنَيِنِ قِيلَ لِعُبَيْدٍ: أَلَيْسَ السَّمَاءُ وَالْأَرْضُ تَبْكِي عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِ؟
قَالَ: ذَاكَ مَقَامُهُ وَحَيْثُ يَصْعَدُ عَمَلُهُ. قَالَ: وَتَدْرِي مَا بُكَاءُ السَّمَاءِ؟ قَالَ لَا. قَالَ:
تَحْمَرُّ وَتَصِيرُ وَرْدَةً كَالدِّهَانِ، إِنَّ يَحْيَى بْنَ زَكَرِيَّا لَمَّا قُتِلَ، احْمَرَّتِ السَّمَاءُ وَقَطَّرَتْ دَمًا.
وَإِنَّ حُسَيْنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ يَوْمَ قُتِلَ احْمَرَّتِ السَّمَاءُ «٣» .
١٨٥٥٣ - مِنْ طَرِيقِ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ معمر، عن ابن أبي ذئب، عن المقبري، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ- صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ- قَالَ «مَا أَدْرِي الْحُدُودُ طَهَارَةٌ لِأَهْلِهَا أَمْ لَا؟ وَلا أَدْرِي تَبَعٌ لَعِينًا كَانَ أَمْ لَا؟ وَلا أَدْرِي ذُو الْقَرْنَيْنِ نَبِيًّا كَانَ أَمْ مَلَكًا؟ وَقَالَ غَيْرُهُ: أَعُزَيْرًا كَانَ نَبِيًّا أَمْ لَا؟» «٤» .
١٨٥٥٤ - عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ. قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا تَسُبُّوا تَبَعًا فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ قَدْ أَسْلَمَ» «٥» .
١٨٥٥٦ - أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنِ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ- رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ- قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «مَا أَدْرِي تَبَعُ نَبِيًّا كان أم غير نبي؟ «٦» .
