His saying, the Almighty: "Rivers of water, incorruptible"

18884 - From Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) regarding His saying: "Rivers of water, incorruptible," he said: "Unchanged."(1)

18885 - From Ikrimah (may Allah be pleased with him) he said: "They used to enter upon the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), and when they would leave him, they would say to Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), 'What did he say just now?' And he would say, 'Such and such,' for Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) was among those who were given knowledge."(2)

His saying, the Almighty: "For their signs have already come"

18886 - From al-Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "For their signs have already come," he said: "Muhammad (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) is among their signs."(3)

His saying, the Almighty: "And ask forgiveness for your sin"

18887 - From Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "And ask forgiveness for your sin and for the believing men and believing women," the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Indeed, I ask Allah for forgiveness seventy times a day."(4)

His saying, the Almighty: "And Allah knows your place of movement"

18888 - From Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): "And Allah knows your place of movement" in the world, "and your place of rest" in the Hereafter.(5)

18889 - From Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "When speech is public and action is hidden, when tongues are in harmony but hearts are in disagreement, and when every person of kinship severs the tie of kinship, at that point Allah curses them, makes them deaf, and blinds their sight."(6)
